Restful Escape

The bathroom can be more than just a place for bathing and dealing with roughage deficiency. With proper space planning, organizing and decorating, your bathroom can be a relaxing venue for meditation in the morning or a restful respite after a grueling day at the office.

Bathrooms, just like other rooms in city homes, also suffer from limited spaces. This, however, is not a problem as long as bathroom fixtures and furniture are properly designed and positioned. A well-placed window in the bathroom is also advisable to allow air circulation and discourage growth of mold and bacteria.

To avoid clutter, invest on a good shower caddy where you can organize toiletries and other bath essentials like sponges and scrubs. Install towel rack near the shower area for easy reach and if space permits have a hamper for laundry.

Use light or neutral colors, like greens and blues, for your bathroom to make it look more spacious and create a relaxing atmosphere. Bring in some live plants to freshen up the room even more.
